Day 68 - 9 weeks and 5 days

Mood: Angry, Loud, Energetic, Cheery (the contradictions!)
Physical: Lower back is starting to hurt more; using the preggo belly band now to wear my regular jeans (maternity jeans too saggy especially in but area); belly is big (more so in the evening); random pimples on face and all over body; small bumps on upper back; hair growing all over more quickly

I feel like I haven't written in awhile. Maybe because there hasn't been a lot of milestones until recently. Here's a quick outline on what's happened:

1) Got a NEW job! The organization is great, I love my boss, co-workers are cool and seem genuinely happy and enjoy their job. First day was Friday and it went by fairly quickly. Really excited about work and, of course, insurance.
2) BD's divorce finally went through! Woot, meaning that his X is out of the pic for reals now and we can take her off his insurance and place me under domestic partnership.
3) A lot more people know that I'm pregnant and most of my siblings do now. All that's left is updating my aunt on relationship/baby, my mom (then an email to others and my dad will commence). Oh and updating the BD's parents too!
4) Nausea seems to have subsided now! Yay! Two full days of being able to eat and not be grossed out by anything. No throwing up! I think now I can commence to eat like a pregnant chick!
5) My first prenatal appointment is this upcoming Tuesday, very very excited!

Now as for the baby! The baby should be over an inch and close to the size of a kumquat! Also, baby has officially transitioned from an embryo to a fetus and has completed the critical part of development. BB is starting to look more like a real baby, too. Hopefully at my appointment I can see the baby in the ultrasound (moving, too!) and hear a heart beat through a doppler. So exciting.

Below is more on baby:

Baby Status: Baby's external ears are developing. Baby's optic nerve and eyelids are developing. Baby's arms and legs are moving now. This would be visible on ultrasound. Baby's muscles in
trunk, limbs, and head are developing. Male and female genitalia still look very similar. Development of heart is complete.
